The GFIA (Gibraltar Funds and Investments Association) recently held their annual Gala Dinner at the Alameda Open Air Theatre. Our charity was invited to attend to raise awareness and fundraise. We managed to raise an incredible £6,647.68! The winner of the first prize of our raffle – an electric bike – offered it up for auction and this was sold for £950! This just shows how amazingly generous the attendees were and how effective Joe Holliday’s speech was, as well as the superhuman fundraising skills displayed by Nicky Peliza and his team. A huge “Thank You!” to the GFIA, Ms. Angela Almeida and her team, the attendees and last, but not least, the businesses that donated the raffle prizes!
