As we look back on 2025, Prostate Cancer Gibraltar would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us throughout the year. It has been a year defined by awareness, solidarity, generosity and community spirit, and we are deeply proud of what has been achieved together.

A Year Full of Events, Awareness and Engagement

During 2025, Prostate Cancer Gibraltar organised and supported a wide range of events aimed at raising awareness, encouraging early testing, supporting men and their families, and keeping vital conversations about prostate cancer alive.

The events held and supported during 2025 included:

• World Cancer Day Charity Fun Run & Family Walk

• Awareness Day at The Piazza

• Flag Day

• Workplace Awareness Session at Bet365 Gibraltar

• Awareness Session at Gibraltar Fire & Rescue Service

• Awareness Session at the Ministry of Equality

• Support for “Walk the Mile” in aid of the Gibraltar Cardiac Association

• Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride – Dapper Riders Gibraltar

• PCG Buddies Meetings

• Final Buddies Meeting with Minister Arias Vasquez and Consultant Urologist James Allen

Our annual Walnut Campaign once again played a central role in bringing the community together and included:

• Official Launch of the Walnut Campaign at the Mayor’s Palace

• Moorish Castle illuminated blue for prostate cancer awareness

• Grow Your Moustache – Walnut Campaign

• Walnut Campaign Awareness Day at The Piazza

• Quiz Night for a Cause

• Walnut Fun Run / Fun Walk

• Shave-Off Day

In addition, we were honoured to be supported through a number of community-led and charitable initiatives, including:

• Christmas Artisans Market

• Student-led fundraising challenge “Dash for the Tache”

• Free the Knee 2025

• Cummings Braces the Cold for Prostate Cancer Gibraltar

Each of these events—whether large public campaigns or smaller, focused sessions—played a vital role in spreading awareness, building trust and strengthening our support network.
