Partners have a part to play

Lidia Baldachino’s role in the committee is to provide support and advice to the partners of men with a prostate condition. She will also be
supporting the community on urological issues.

Lidia says “having had cancer myself, I’m fully aware of how this disease can turn your life upside down and cause pain and stress to sufferers and their family. I see my role in the committee as that of a person who can empathise and support the partners of men with prostate cancer, or indeed, any person with urological problems. Although I cannot give medical advice, I will be there to support partners with their pathway through their disease”.
