This morning, Prostate Cancer Gibraltar held its highly anticipated Walnut Fun Run, as part of the ongoing Walnut Campaign. With the invaluable support of the Gibraltar Athletic Association, and in particular Robert Matto Snr, the event brought together runners and supporters to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.
The 5 Km run started in front of the ICC. The event showcased the community’s enthusiasm for this important cause.
In the male category, Robert Matto Jnr took first place, while the female category was won by Rosana Fernandes.
The Walnut Fun Run is a vital part of Prostate Cancer Gibraltar’s efforts to encourage men over 50 to take proactive steps for their health by undergoing regular PSA testing. This simple blood test can detect prostate cancer in its early stages, significantly improving successful results by.
