Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia Supports Prostate Cancer Gibraltar

Prostate Cancer Gibraltar (PCG) was honoured by the visit of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Joseph Garcia, to their stand during the Walnut Awareness Day on Saturday, 16th November, opposite the Cathedral of St Mary the Crowned.

His presence highlighted his support for PCG’s mission to promote prostate cancer awareness and early detection through PSA testing.

Dr Garcia engaged with PCG representatives to learn about their work, objectives and plans for 2025 . ‘’We are grateful for Dr Garcia’s support,” said a PCG spokesperson. “His involvement helps spread our message and encourages others to take action.”

The Walnut Awareness Day is part of PCG’s month-long campaign to encourage men over 50 to get a PSA test, a simple blood test that can save lives.
PCG urges men to prioritise their health by booking a PSA test via email at prostate@gha.gi.
