Bishop Fitzgerald School Raises an Outstanding £3,530 for Prostate Cancer Gibraltar

Prostate Cancer Gibraltar is delighted to recognise the incredible fundraising achievement of Bishop Fitzgerald School, whose pupils, staff, and families collected an impressive £3,530 in support of our charity.

This remarkable contribution reflects the school’s strong commitment to community values and its dedication to supporting important causes that impact families across Gibraltar.

A Whole-School Effort

The fundraising initiative brought together children from across the school, who participated with enthusiasm, creativity, and generosity. Their efforts not only raised vital funds but also helped spread awareness about prostate cancer within their families and wider community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs Parral and her wonderful team, whose leadership, organisation, and motivation played a key role in making this initiative such a success. Their dedication ensured that the children were engaged, informed, and excited to contribute to the Walnut Campaign.

Supporting Awareness from a Young Age

Seeing young students actively involved in charity work is truly inspiring. By learning about the importance of health awareness and community support, they help strengthen the message that early detection and conversation can save lives.

The funds raised will directly support Prostate Cancer Gibraltar’s ongoing work in promoting awareness, encouraging PSA testing, supporting patients and families, and ensuring men in Gibraltar have access to essential information and resources.
