About Prostate Cancer Gibraltar
Prostate Cancer Gibraltar is a registered charity dedicated to raising awareness, supporting men and families affected by prostate cancer, and promoting early detection across Gibraltar.
We exist for one simple reason: early detection saves lives.
Who we are
Through education, community engagement, and collaboration with healthcare professionals, we work to ensure that no man in Gibraltar faces prostate cancer alone. We believe that talking about prostate cancer should be normal β not uncomfortable.
Awareness
We promote open conversations about menβs health and encourage men to take action early.
Support
We help patients and families navigate diagnosis, treatment and life after cancer with guidance and reassurance.
Community
We are powered by volunteers, supporters and partners who keep the message visible across Gibraltar.
Our mission
Our work is focused on awareness, early detection and meaningful support β delivered through community campaigns, resources and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
What we aim to achieve
- Increase awareness of prostate cancer and the importance of PSA testing
- Encourage men over 50 (or over 45 with family history) to take a simple blood test
- Support patients and families emotionally and practically
- Reduce stigma and promote open conversations about menβs health
How we do it
- Education and community engagement throughout the year
- Visible public campaigns and events that spark conversation
- Working alongside healthcare professionals and trusted partners
- Providing clear signposting to local testing and support
Our message is simple
Check your PSA. Talk about it. Act early.
