Join the group
After installing StepUp, press the join button again or scan the QR code again to join the Free The Knee 2026 group.

StepUp is used to track the team challenge. Please make sure every participant installs the app, joins the correct group and opens the app daily during the challenge.

If the QR code or invite link takes you to the App Store or Google Play first, install StepUp. Then return to this page and press Join the app group again, or scan the QR code again.
Join Free The Knee 2026
Once StepUp is installed, use the invite link or QR code to join the Free The Knee 2026 group.
When StepUp asks for your name, please use your initials as your First Name and your team name as your Last Name.
Example:
If your name is David Martinez and your team is Knee Crushers, please enter:
First Name: DM
Last Name: Knee Crushers
Please make sure each participant opens the StepUp app every day before midday. The app needs to be opened daily so step data can sync and be received correctly for tracking.

How the challenge works
The challenge runs for 5 working days, making it fun and achievable alongside your daily routine.
- The app allows steps to be tracked live.
- No need to send daily screenshots this year.
- Updates of the top 5 teams may be shared throughout the week.
- Participants must open StepUp every day to allow steps to sync.
- Steps should be updated before midday to ensure accurate tracking.
Daily sync reminder
To help the organisers keep the leaderboard accurate, each participant should open StepUp every day during the challenge.
If the app is not opened, the latest step data may not be received in time and may not appear correctly in the team tracking.
Register your team
Complete the form below with your team details. After submitting the form, your registration will be sent automatically to the Free The Knee organisers at GFSC and you will be redirected to the donation page.

Please include your team name, email, number of participants and the full names of each participant. Company or organisation name is optional.
Please use the same team name when completing your donation, so the organisers can match your payment with your registration.
In StepUp, each participant should use their initials as First Name and the team name as Last Name.
Donation after registration
Once you submit the registration form, you should be redirected automatically to the donation page. Please enter at least £25 to confirm your team’s registration.
You are very welcome to enter a higher amount if you would like to make an additional donation to Prostate Cancer Gibraltar.
Please use your team name as the payment reference where possible.

Your registration details will be sent automatically to the Free The Knee organisers at GFSC. You do not need to send a separate copy of your registration by email.
The organisers may contact you if they need to confirm your team name, participant details or app profile names.
